Description

Apple 661-0345. Internal 800K disk drive for the 512Ke, Plus, Macintosh II, and early SE. Later SE’s used the 1.4mb SuperDrive. This is also the internal drive in the Apple IIc Plus.

All are Sony MP-F51W (MFD-51W). Available are “red label” or a “black label” on the side of the drive, I believe they are completely interchangeable in external housings, but please do your own research. Color will matter depending on what color cable you have in your early Macintosh – more info found here. You can see some components changed in the last photo – black label on the left and red on the right.

All have been cleaned and greased. Tested to format, read and write and eject.
